Before you write us off as a bunch of "do-gooders," let me tell you something... we weren't always like this.

Our trash (and recycling) bins were overflowing. I was faithfully breaking down Amazon boxes and thought, I'm doing my part, right? But as I tossed paper towel after paper towel into the garbage, I couldn't help but picture all the waste leaving our home—not just the trees, but the money we were literally throwing away. There had to be a better way.

So we started small.

One simple swap became another. Reusable paper towels. Refillable products. Cleaner ingredients. Less waste. And to our surprise, living more sustainably wasn't harder—it was easier. It saved money, reduced clutter, and became a way of life that just made sense.

That's why Birch & Twine exists.

Our mission isn't to make anyone feel guilty or tell you that you have to be perfect. It's to make sustainable living feel approachable, practical, and attainable. To help busy families and individuals discover simple changes that fit their lives, provide healthier choices for the people (and four-legged family members) they love, and create a community where we can learn from one another along the way.
